Why Rituals Changed the Way I Manifest (Especially When I couldn’t Sit Still)
From My Journal…
I’ve always felt like my mind moves faster than I can keep up with.
Thoughts layering over thoughts. Ideas, worries, visions… all at once.
And for the longest time, I thought I was doing something wrong - especially when it came to things like meditation and manifestation.
Because no matter how much I tried… I couldn’t always sit still long enough to “do it properly.”
I’d hear things like
“just visualise”
“just feel into it”
“be in the stillness”
And I remember thinking how?
How do you slow your mind down when it’s running in ten different directions? How do you connect to what you want when your nervous system doesn’t feel settled?
What I’ve come to understand - through my own journey, and through the women I work with - is this:
Not everyone is designed to access stillness in the same way.
And especially if you have a more neurodivergent brain, or a nervous system that’s used to being “on”… traditional meditation and manifestation practices can feel frustrating, or even out of reach.
That doesn’t mean you’re blocked. It just means you need a different entry point.
For me, that’s been ritual.
Not rigid routines.
Not forcing myself to sit in silence when my body is telling me no.
But intentional, physical rituals that give my mind somewhere to land… and my body something to anchor into.
There’s something powerful that happens when you bring manifestation into the physical world.
When you’re:
holding something
mixing something
lighting something
choosing something with intention
It becomes less about trying to “get it right” in your head… and more about creating a moment your nervous system can actually feel safe in.
And that’s when things started to shift for me.
Not because I suddenly became better at sitting still…
but because I stopped trying to force myself into a way that didn’t work for me.
Rituals slowed me down in a way that felt natural.
Grounded me without pressure.
Helped me connect back to myself - without the overwhelm.
And from that place… visualising felt easier.
Clarity felt more accessible.
And the patterns I kept looping in started to soften.
If you’ve ever felt like you’re “bad” at meditation…
or like manifestation just isn’t working for you…
I want you to hear this:
You’re not the problem
Your nervous system just needs a different way.
This is something I’ve become really passionate about - creating practices that don’t just sound good in theory, but actually work in real life.
Especially for women who:
feel overwhelmed
struggle to slow down
or feel disconnected from themselves
And this is exactly why I created my ritual boxes.
Not as something “extra” to do… but as a way to make manifestation and self-connection feel accesible.
Grounded.
Intentional.
Real.
Because sometimes, the most powerful shifts don’t come from sitting still and trying harder…
They come from creating a moment where your mind, your body, and your intention finally meet.
And maybe that’s your reminder today:
You don’t have to force yourself into someone else’s way of healing or manifesting. You’re allowed to find what works for you.
If this resonates, you’ll feel it. And if you’re wanting a more supported, tangible way to start creating these moments for yourself… that’s exactly what my ritual boxes are here for.
